Abandoned cart recovery is the practice of bringing back shoppers who added items but didn't complete checkout — usually via email. The Exit Interceptor goes further, also catching pre-cart browsing abandonment and writing a unique message for each shopper rather than one generic reminder.
How fast does the recovery email send?
The interceptor processes at-risk shoppers every 10 minutes and sends once a candidate is at least 5 minutes idle and under 6 hours old — fast enough to catch intent while it's warm, without feeling instant or creepy.
